As an adult with ADHD, high sensitivity, and autistic traits, overwhelm and masking are daily struggles.

What This Space Is (and Isn’t)

This space grew out of long nights of reading, scrolling, questioning, and trying to make sense of myself through fragmented information online. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by research, labels, or contradictory advice, you’re not alone.

This blog is a place to slow things down. It’s for shared reflections, lived experience, and gentle sense-making around ADHD, high sensitivity, and autistic traits — without pressure to arrive at a conclusion.

This space is not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, and not here to tell you who you are. It’s not about fixing yourself or forcing clarity before you’re ready.

It’s simply a place to pause, recognize yourself in the words, and take what resonates — and leave the rest.

There’s no timeline for Self-Understanding

Simple Understanding (Read Only If It Helps)

This is not here to label you or explain everything.
It’s a soft overview for those who feel overwhelmed by too much research.

ADHD often shows up as differences in attention, energy, motivation, and nervous system regulation — not a lack of effort.
High Sensitivity (HSP) is about depth of processing. Many sensitive people feel emotions, sensory input, and environments more intensely, and need more rest to recover.
Autism often involves differences in communication, sensory experience, and social energy — not a lack of empathy or connection.
These experiences can overlap. You don’t need to sort or decide anything here.
Take what resonates, skip what doesn’t, and come back when you’re ready.
